International Journal of Curriculum and Instructional Studies (IJOCIS) is a peer-reviewed international journal published by Curriculum and Instruction Association (ISSN: 2146-3638;; E-ISSN: 2619-9068). This is an open access journal which means that all content is freely available without charge to the user or his/her institution. Users are allowed to read, download, copy, distribute, print, search, or link to the full texts of the articles, or use them for any other lawful purpose, without asking prior permission from the publisher or the author. This is in accordance with the BOAI definition of open access.

IJOCIS began its publication life by releasing its first issue on 01.06.2011 and now accepts articles focusing on the field of curriculum and instruction. The journal provides a platform for the publication of qualitative and quantitative research related to curriculum and instruction, original opinions, theoretical studies and model recommendations. The main objective of IJOCIS is to be a reliable and reputable source of information on the conceptual and applied scientific research in the field of curriculum and instruction at national and international level. The Association of Curriculum and Instruction aims at creating a common scientific platform for theoretical and practical research in the field of curriculum and instruction by bringing together all the practitioners working in the field through IJOCIS.

IJOCIS is indexed in ERIC (since 2018)Ulakbim, TR Dizin, EBSCO Central & Eastern European Academic Source, Arastirmax and ASOS Index databases. The required procedures to be indexed in ESCI and SSCI at the earliest are currently being carried out. We would like to express our gratitude to everyone who have contributed to the journal as authors and referees and in particular to those who have conducted studies on Curriculum and Instruction. Dear authors,

In 2020, articles are accepted according to new rules and principles. Your articles will be sent to the referees after the Editoral review and plagiarism control. In addition, for social sciences, the ethical committee approval must be obtained in studies that are conducted clinically and experimentally with humans and animals that require an ethical committee decision. This approval must be stated and documented in the article. Accordingly, the Ethics Committee report will be requested in your studies. In studies requiring ethics committee approaval, information about the approval (name of the board, date and number) should be included in the method part and also on the first / last page of the article. In case reports, information about the volunteer informed/consent form being signed should be included in the article.
