Published as the first issue of 2020 as Volume 10, Issue 1, there are articles that we consider stimulating and important in the “International Journal Curriculum and Instructional Studies”, which is  published

When looking at the variety of articles in this issue, it is seen that there are studies related to contemporary approaches in teaching science; metaphors for curriculum and curriculum evaluation; perceptions of secondary school English curriculum; investigation of KPSS; transported education; meta analysis study; measurement and evaluation; scale development; online learning and student culturization. We congratulate the authors who contributed to our journal? for their work and wish them continued success. We also offer our sincere thanks to our referees who have reviewed the articles meticulously.

With the 10th volume, 1st issue of our journal, there have been some changes in the team. We would like to thank to the editors who contributed to the issue. Dr. Cecilia Mercado, Prof. Dr. Gülsen Ünver and our new editor Assoc. Prof. Dr. Selcen Bingöl; new Assistant-Editors Dr. Gülçin Tan Şişman and Dr. Semra Tican Başaran; language editors Assoc. Prof. Dr. Cevdet Epçaçan, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Dilara Demirbulak and Dr. Gülçin Gülmez, for their meticulous work and contributions to the publication of our journal. In addition, we also express our gratitude notably? to Prof. Dr. Özcan Demirel, the owner of the journal as well as the doyen of our field, and members of the Editorial Board for their continuous support.

As per the decision of the Board of Editorial Committee, this issue will be the last one published in two languages in Turkish and English in 2020. The articles accepted to be published in our journal as of December 2020 (Volume 10, Issue 2) will now be published in English only with an extended Turkish summary. In addition, articles that do not have an ‘Ethics Committee Document’ within the framework of the TR Directory rules will not be accepted to our journal.

As always, we call on all educators in our country and in the world working in the field of Curriuculm and Instructional studies to send high quality and scientific studies to our journal.
